Does anyone have a definitive solution to the

"Loading LinuxEBDA is big; kernel setup stack overlaps LILO second stage"

error/bug in lilo? My 30 production boxes are hanging at reboot every time there's a kernel upgrade - "large-memory" in lilo.conf doesn't seem to make a difference. Google searches indicate that booting from a rescue CD and rerunning lilo takes care of the problem, which is does, until the next kernel upgrade. Which isn't very satisfying...
