Does anybody produce a DVD with packages that are not included in official DVD set released by Debian? For people who does have broadband connection to internet there is practically no difference (I guess) between non-free and main repository - all is available. But for people like me who only have 33k modem connection (it is not 56k because of bad phone line) and use CD/DVD for installation this is show stopper. Just to clarify my reasons: I can live without angband but I find it frustrating to use emacs without info documentation and elisp info too. But most painful experience was to download driver for my lucent modem without working modem :( Also I want to use lame for mp3 encoding and (oh heresy! :) cdrecord instead of wodim ... PS: my original post was triggered by the fact that it was first time I noticed that Debian have -doc package but not the program (opposed to the emacs case :) Martin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
