Windows stomps the boot sector and writes it's own anyway. Removing partitions doesn't affect LILO, which is installed to the boot-loader (/sbin/lilo's sole function in life is to install a boot-loader, it's the LILO equivalent of DOS's fdisk /mbr). It should still get a kernel running, but it'll panic when it can't find init until you reinstall Debian or install Windows (which will stomp the boot-loader). - -- .''`.
