Another problem since the update of Squeeze yesterday.

Qpopper was removed and I reinstalled it.
As for the original installation, I left
qpopper.conf as installed.

When the mailer attempts retrieval from qpopper
this message appears.
RCV: -ERR [AUTH] PAM authentication failed for user "peter": Module is unknown
(28)

The PAM library packages appear as installed
previously. The PAM modules should be available.

/var/log/ syslog has these lines.
Feb 7 16:08:13 joule in.qpopper[2825]: connect from 172.23.5.2 (172.23.5.2)
Feb 7 16:08:13 joule in.qpopper[2825]: (v4.0.9) Servicing request from
"heaviside.invalid" at 172.23.5.2 [pop_init.c:1408]
Feb 7 16:08:23 joule in.qpopper[2825]: peter at heaviside.invalid
(172.23.5.2): -ERR [AUTH] PAM authentication failed for user "peter": Module is
unknown (28) [pop_pass.c:532]
Feb 7 16:08:23 joule in.qpopper[2825]: [AUTH] Failed attempted login to peter
from host (heaviside.invalid) 172.23.5.2 [pop_pass.c:1265]

I've read /usr/share/doc/* and found nothing obviously
relevant.

Any ideas about this?

Thanks, ... Peter E.
