Just to be picky, you should have a canonical hostname that pairs with your static IP (the results of dig +short -x $your_ip). You have to use a hostname as the target of an MX record, not a bare IP: bare IPs in MX records is a violation of some RFC or other, and could get you blacklisted by rfc-ignorant.org. -- Jon Dowland
