I am having trouble with two of my Debian boxes in that I cannot run e.g. ethereal on either of them (2.4.18-bf2.4 and 2.2.19pre17) in promiscuous mode. I need to sniff around in my net but am only able to see packets either originting from or detined to the Debians.
Anyone know what it going on?
