-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
I often backup everything of my Debian systems with the tgz utility. Is it possible to boot a LiveCD, to put the whole content of the tgz (assuming it is complete) on the partition (assuming there is enough free space), and to reboot (assuming GRUB is okay)? I would like to hear others' experience about this. Thanks. - -- Merciadri Luca See http://www.student.montefiore.ulg.ac.be/~merciadri/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Processed by Mailcrypt 3.5.8 <http://mailcrypt.sourceforge.net/> iEYEARECAAYFAkruuz8ACgkQM0LLzLt8MhzE9QCeKmFowEt01CxiwbiQjoPrlY5m 6IIAoI2wq/6zRJCHmtWN82jSUiyQqY9I =tzF+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
