So the post-removal script returned with a bad exit code. Edit the script: /var/lib/dpkg/info/ldap-account-manager.postrm to change it to read: #!/bin/sh exit 0 ... previous content here ... That will almost certainly let you remove it - though it might be more useful to read the script and understand what it does, and which part is failing. Then you can report a bug..
