That's exactly what I did, but it did not install. Indeed, I have tried
two such add-ons, the one I mentioned in my first post, and another I

The only difference I can see between is that you mentioned TBird;
whereas I used Icedove. The latest Icedove available in stable --
presently Lenny -- is 2.0.0.22; and a later version is not (yet?)
available in testing. Are you using TBird 2.x.x, or a beta version of
TBird 3.0.x, instead of Icedove?
It's working for me, just as simply as mentioned above. I am also using
T-Bird, not Icedove. My version of T-Bird is 2.0.0.19. Perhaps there
is a problem with Icedove? Not having ever used it, I would not know.
