That is because openoffice.org-updatedicts is a virtual package (which
is provided by dictionaries-common):

Do yourself a favor and install a proper package manager, i.e. aptitude,
if it is not present on your system already. Then you can ask it
directly what the problem is, like this:

aptitude why-not aspell
