I have done this in my writeup. I went ahead and put up a rudimentary article on the Wiki. http://wiki.debian.org/AutomateBackports Please do correct me and suggest methods to improve it. And Andrei suggested that I use apt-get source. But I still need to determine some file names using the version of the package, for which I need to parse the sources file. I have to think of an elegant way to do it. But, for now, even without the script in the final step in the above Wiki, I believe backporting should become really simple for people. Thanks, and do edit the article to polish it if you can. Kumar -- Kumar Appaiah -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
