I'm running testing and noticed in Synaptic I have a bunch of packages which are in the "local or obselete category". Some have been locally installed...but most are those I had to re-install after an unfortunate problem sometime ago. I assume because they are in the local or obselete category they are not subjcet to being updated. How can I change this, I guess in aptitude ??
