As a partial answer to self: "If your host name is not configured in the world wide DNS, you need to set the "System mail name" to an existing domain name, or your messages will be rejected by most systes on the Internet due to sender verification." from [1]
I was expecting this, guess i'll have to set up a domain. I wouldn't want to set up a domain just for scripts and i wouldn't want to use one of the existing vhost domains for the other vhosts. Any suggestions?
