equivalent to mepis-network

hi,
I want to install mepis-network on debian lenny, because, it gives network
assistant for  wireless
in particular   scan access points for wireless,  while the debian hasn't
it, I have diffrent accesses the choice is not easy.
Is there an equivalent on debian ?
