They have got almost this exact topic going on right now. http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2009-June/257408.html The first link talks about an 8 bay setup (with discount!), but later in the discussion they talk about larger setups and various other ideas / implementations including rack-mountable solutions.
