You have to be specific: - Which laptop (brand and model) - Which video card. In doubt, check the output of "lspci -nn" or Xorg.log by running "grep -i chipset /var/log/Xorg.0.log") - Which version of Debian (I assume you use Lenny) > When I go to change the screen resolution I only have the option of > 800x600 (and 60 or 56Hz refresh rate). > How can I stretch things so it uses up my whole screen?
