Hi, I have Debian GNU/Linux Lenny with kernel 2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP.
I'm using GNOME Desktop. I have setup my USB Printer with system-config-printer. When I try to print an image from GIMP with menu / File / Print with Gutenprint.. command, I get the error message: GIMP Message Print with Gutenprint-message lp: The printer or class was not found. I added my username to lp group. But when I try to print this image with command: menu / File / Print... then I can print it successfully, thought, the printed image look not as I wish. I can to restart the cups with sudo /etc/init.d/cups restart command. What is the problem? How can I resolve it?
