  I'm always confused when people ask for a HOWTO.  There is
 documentation supplied in the exim4 package which does answer
 your question already.  I get the impression when people say
 that they want a howto they've not searched google, read the
 config files of the package they're asking about, or looked
 at the included documentation.

  Take a look at the file /usr/share/doc/exim4-config/README.Debian.gz
 Section 2.3.1 is the most relevent:
