First time replying so please forgive any first time mistakes. If you "apt-cache show lvm2" what do you see?
if you run "apt-file list lvm2 | egrep 'lvmsar|lvmsadc' " Does it show lvmsar and lvmsadc as being present? >From the documentation I've read there is a conflict between lvm-common and lvm2. Perhaps this is the source of the issue?
