I can't find a webmaster contact for the linux.debian.user forum, but maybe someone can advise me about this puzzling problem.
The linux.debian.user community is indispensable, and I couldn't do with out . However, I have occasionally had a technical problem that follows this pattern: On Friday 4/10 I posted under the subject "boot failure diagnostics". When I got back from the weekend, I looked for responses to my post, but I could not find the original post (even though an email copy was sent to me)! I reposted with the same subject. When the post appeared on linux.debian.user a short time later, there were 27 responses! On examination, the fourth response began: Discussion subject changed to "Lenny overheating, preventing installation" by Adrian Levi So, apparently even though my original post was not accessible under the original subject, my repost got folded into the original post, and the original subject reinstated! Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Thanks and Best Regards, Vwaju New York City -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
