Well, they both do it transparently, just some people don't bother to
consider alternatives to how they're used to seeing a checkbook.
Gnucash is less likely to annoy people already familiar with
double-entry accounting (since it's showing you up front what it's
doing).  Quicken doesn't make it so obvious.
