I will appreciate any suggestion I found a work around using live-magic. live-magic generates an iso successfully, but it has very few options for customizing the cd. What I did was to edit one of the packageslist files in /user/share/live-helper/lists associated to one of the options of live-magic. I used the gnome option, so I edited the gnome file, and wrote inside this file the lists of packages I wanted. It worked.
