Okay, so as no one has provided any hints as to where to go, the only
thing left is to try alsaconf.
But from what I've been able to ascertain, alsaconf is considered
poorly-written and poorly-maintained by the Debian developers, and hence
it has been dropped from the Debian distribution (at least in Sid).
Can anyone verify that alsaconf has been deprecated in Debian? If not,
in which package will I find it?
