I was wondering if its possible to add another to level menu besides the gnome debian and kde menus. I want to create a custom menu to make it easier to access frequently used programs. The debian menu method seems ok for the task but it seems that it only adds programs under the debian menu and I would like to bypass that level of redirection. The target platform is gnome but if there is a general way to perform this it would be nice.
