I disagree. Sure, some people use a tabbed term with awesome, but I use urxvt, and based on the mailing list and IRC I feel like most users use xterm or (u)rxvt. > Those are not really under the control of the WM. I normally don't move terms between tags, I just set up my terms as soon as I start X, and then use each tag and each term for it's own specific purpose. I just started using urxvt in daemon/client mode which allows many terms to share one instance, reducing the overhead of many terms (not that that is a lot anyway). As for the actual problem of resized terms (especially within screen), I unfortunately don't know of a good solution. You could try on the awesome mailing list or IRC.
