Hello,
I'm going to add a cheap graphics card (with S-Video TV out) to an old
PC so that I can display the PC's output on an old(ish) TV.
I have a cable to connect the S-Video connector on the graphics card to
the TV. I just need the graphics card.
The TV is wide screen, CRT, 50Hz..
I'm not after a high spec 3D board as I'm only going to use this setup
to play back previously saved mpeg DVB streams (mostly sourced from
Film4 at 720x576 resolution)
Is anyone using old / low spec PCI TV out cards for this kind of set up?
Any recommendations for cards?
Any I should steer clear of?
Nvidia 7300 cards are pretty darned cheap, very powerful, and can be
fanless.
