That's what I ended up doing --- and just did a straight copy to a directory in my home. One annoying thing that's going on...each time I connect the camera in one logon session, the kernel bumps up the device..i.e. sdb1/sdc1/sdd1/sde1 and so on. So I have to keep checking before mounting. Can't this be automated ??? /rant Linux in general seems to be behind the 8 ball when it comes to video and graphics. My wife's XP has better tools. (But she crashes more often) /rant-off Cheers -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkldOxoACgkQnQV1aTcQlJsrFgCeOgt8cmwBR99mH60n2JWYmfca k80An2n0dbW3gyHBNsxvrWn9fyFjlEcD =SUbQ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
