I tried loading the kernel modules pcips2 and lkkbd, but that didn't help either. It looks like PS/2 keyboard support _is_ in the kernel already. If the kernel were lacking support for the adaptor, the mouse wouldn't be working in the first place, right? I really can't see where the problem is. What's really frustrating is that it works superbly in Windows XP. It's a common keyboard too, a Genius KL-0210. This really goes over my head.
