Thanks, Tom. In response to your post, I went looking for a list of the differences between the locales in OOo3. I could not find such a list, so I asked on the OOo mailing list. Specifically, I am looking for a locale with yyyy-mm-dd date format but I'd like to know what other settings will be affected. When I hear back from OOo I will update here.
