I changed them to your suggestion above, then ran `/etc/init.d/udev
reload' but still no symlinks.
udevtest no longer exists in Sid. It has been replaced by
`udevadm test [options] devpath' which then tells me after reading all
of the rules files:
udevadm test /dev/tty_dgl0
.

.
unable to open device '/dev/tty_dgl0'
