I'm using GA-8N-SLI Intel Edition motherboard I actually wanted to transfer datas from SATA hdd to (80 GB)IDE hdd (40 GB) and install Debian on that SATA hdd. My problem is, it stops transferring data after a few minutes. Somebody suggests that the problem lies from the incompatability between old nForce SATA controller and certain Maxtor hdd which is the IDE.
