Try deleting the file and then restart IW. On my system, IW picks up ~/.mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so [1] if it's there. Otherwise it uses the new [2] alternatives system flash support /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flash-mozilla.so . Note: I don't use the backport's flashplugin-nonfree or debian-multimedia's flashplayer-mozilla packages.
