I am trying to setup a Samba domain inside an Active Directory network. This is a separate domain and will be replacing the AD, the problem is that one of the machines connected to the AD cannot find the domain when told to use it.
We can see this domain when we goto Network Places (Windows XP) but are unable to access it. We are really at a loss here, as I previously setup a test domain and it worked (this was a couple of months ago), this machine was then completly reinstalled and this new domain isn't working. I initially set up the domain in a VM (this was at home) and this worked. Has anyone had this issue before and solved it, I can't seem to convince Uncle Google to give me an answer.
