On Lenny I couldn't get friends with the default infrastructure for it, but it works like a breeze with jpilot: just select in jpilots preferences on the settings-tab at serial port "usb:" and enter in the text-field behind it "usb:". Also in gnome at 'the removable drives and media preferences', tab 'PDA's', I checked the 'Sync Palm(tm) devices when connected' and entered at 'Command': 'jpilot-sync'. I can sync by just pressing the sync button and nowdays when my Treo fails to connect, I really have to check the cable ;-) best wishes, Winfried -- http://www.tilanus.com xmpp:[EMAIL PROTECTED] tel. 015-3613996 / 06-23303960 fax. 015-3614406 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
