Hi, Years ago, when I started using debian, the system documentation was available from my browser using http://localhost/doc/
Even though most files were .gz, they got automatically decompressed so that clicking on them served up a text file directly in the browser window. In recent years this does not work, I click on the link and then have to uncompress the file in a separate step.
