iceape can play youtube videos but stalls at the start of NYTimes videos. My setup is lenney with a stock 2.6.26-1-amd64 kernel. From iceape/help/about plugins/plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux (x86 64) I have downloaded:
nspluginwrapper-1.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm nspluginwrapper-i386-1.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm nspluginwrapper-1.0.0.tar.bz2 and tried unwrapping the tarball and running .configure. This failed with the message, "GLIB 2.0 environment not usable." Next I used alien to generate .deb's from the rpm's and installed them. It is with Shockwave Flash 9.0 r124 installed using resulting version of nspluginwrapper that iceape can play youtube videos but not NYTimes video's. Postings on other subjects which I have read suggest that building applications from source is better than using alien to convert rpm files. If this is so how do I resolve the GLIB problem? I have run apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade without resolving this issue. Aside: Using the path given above there is a choice which leads to nspluginwrapper-0.9.91.5-1.x86_64.rpm. I found these first and tried them with the same results. Tom -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
