That looks horrible. 31 or 32 packages to remove by name (and the names of several are truncated by the display from dpkg -l so I don't even know them all). But dpkg --configure kdebase leads to dependency hell. And those instructions are for woody, where mine is (or rather was) testing/unstable courtesy of Knoppix.
