For me 2.6.26-1-686 is unusable. Hi Hugo If it is of any help, 791 works for me with the Debian 2.6.25 kernel. I had been using 773 (256 bit colour) as I had no need for anything else, but having read your post, I have changed it, rebooted and it appears to be working.
