I assume you're referring to http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=28671 -- in fact I had no idea such a thing existed. It's pretty chaotic though, since there's a number of suggestions that would work for other architectures/versions, but not my present one -- ah well. I swear that when I tried apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree on Thursday, nothing came up. Maybe the backports archive has been updated, but it worked today... and now I'm all set.
