For the last two days our updates of the main debian archive failed
(non-us and security.debian.org worked well) with the following error
message:

receiving file list ... done
./
dists/sarge/
dists/sarge/Contents-i386.gz
write failed on dists/sarge/Contents-i386.gz : Success
rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at receiver.c(243)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (4260807 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at
io.c(151)

I have tried three different upstream mirrors and in each case this is
what happens - just after the "Success" with
dists/sarge/Contents-i386.gz.

At first I thought that the rsync server of the first site
(ftp2.de.debian.org) had a problem but the same happened with
ftp.ie.debian.org and ftp.es.debian.org

Can it be a problem-file in the mirror that causes this? I don't
think the problem is with the rsync client because I use it for many
other mirrors.

Regards.
