Hello, I have installed Debian Lenny Beta2 on a PC with this hardware: Processor AMD Athlon 2100+ k7 Main Board Asrock K7S41GX with chipset SIS http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=K7S41GX 521MB RAM DDR I HDD Maxtor IDE 160GB 7200 rpm
The installation with KDE-CD1 was succefully, but on boot the system with 486 kernel image it fail, the output show: Decompresing kernel image ....................................... Loading, plase wait. (Or some). And my system don´t boot. My PC whit Debian Etch, knoppix, slax ans opensuse works very fine, what happend is on Lenny, I tried with several images generated in past, and the weekly builds. The HDD is new. The installation on expert mode and selecting other kernel images, make the same problem. I also tried with CD1 Image. The MD5SUM´S are exact. This is a Bug report, because on other difrent hardware like Intel forks wonderfully. Sorry for my english and thanks for help. -- "Al principio, el Hombre creó a Dios; y lo creó a su imagen y semejanza.
