It seems gnome-system-tools in sid(i386) is still at 2.20.0-6, while other platform like amd64 has upgraded to 2.22.0-1. I ran it in my computer and it gets: # apt-cache policy gnome-system-tools gnome-system-tools: Installed:2.20.0-6 Available:2.20.0-6 Version Lists: *** 2.20.0-6 0 500 http://http.us.debian.org unstable/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status In the packages website, http://packages.debian.org/gnome-system-tools, it reads, sid (unstable) (gnome): 2.22.0-1: amd64 arm hppa ia64 s390 sparc 2.20.0-6: alpha armel i386 mips mipsel powerpc 2.20.0-2: m68k To cite Daniel and Dietrich once more, In other words, neither of these packages can be upgraded right now.
