My problem is that sound takes a long time to start up after system boot. Sometimes I have to reload or restart the Alsa daemons, which sometimes seems to help. Playing music for a long time will eventually cause sound output to start.
I haven't filed any Debian bug reports previously; I previously have been using Ubuntu, and have filed reports on that in the past, and am more familiar with their bug-reporting procedure.
