-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm running Debian sid on an ia32 computer, with everything up to date, and printing via CUPS to an HP Laserjet 4m. When I print from GNOME applications, like evince or epiphany, the output is too faint to read. But if I print the same document or web page from xpdf or iceweasel, it prints normally.
This leads me to believe that the issue is something in the GNOME environment, but as a recent convert from Windowmaker, I'm not that familiar with the byzantine underpinnings of a modern desktop environment. Also, I didn't see anything recent about this problem in the bug tracker. Is this a known issue? Is there some simple setting that I'm missing?
