No, it's more that your system is considered out of date by the pkg system, where you need to do a dist-upgrade to sort it out. Don't worry about the warning splash that SCREAMS that you need to reboot soon. It's correct, and you will have to sometime after it's done, but there's no real emergency. Just "shutdown -r now" after the dist-upgrade finishes, and all should be well. New kernels and libraries force this sort of thing. -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
