With today's update, problem has disappeared. Looking at /etc/udev/rules.d, I see that only the following three files have changed lately: ------------------ ls -l | grep 2008 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 2008-01-07 00:41 libmtp7.rules -> ../libmtp7.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10231 2008-01-07 12:54 z60_libsane-extras.rules -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 69991 2008-01-07 13:43 z60_libsane.rules ------- So I guess the problem was caused with some libmtp or sane udev rule file messing up my udev system.
