A package like that would be near useless. For ndiswrapper there are many GUIs, and for everything else there are drivers (ipw3945, for example). > > How do you recommend to get ready for installing Etch (or lenny ) on > unknown pcs ? > If the system came with an OS pre-installed, use lspci (Or whatever the Windows equivalent is) and write down all of the hardware. Video card, sound card, wireless chip, etcetera. You will need all of this when it comes time to install Debian, since Debian doesn't install a majority of that by itself, and leaves it up to the end-user. - -- If programmers deserve to be rewarded for creating innovative programs, by the same token they deserve to be punished if they restrict the use of these programs. - Richard Stallman -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHUCRbg6qL2BGnx4QRAq8UAJ9EgFezK9SIM2KV9nbhmF9F2ryLTgCfdyaL Oa3i8ZR032hkljpFCEiiGOY= =v+Cj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
