hi everybody,
i got some troubles with dhcp3-server running on debian etch, where
some clients with letters in the beggining of their MAC address, like
following: 00:e0:4f:06:56:46, aren't receiving DHCPACK from the server. Here is
a piece of the /var/log/daemon.log:

Sep 15 19:32:03 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via 192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:32:03 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.16 to 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via
192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:32:11 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via 192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:32:11 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.16 to 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via
192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:32:28 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via 192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:32:28 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.16 to 00:e0:4f:06:56:46 via
192.168.1.1

But when I change the MAC addres to "00:30:4f:06:56:46", i got the IP
address:

Sep 15 19:35:12 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPDISCOVER from 00:30:4f:06:56:46 via 192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:35:12 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPOFFER on 192.168.1.16 to 00:30:4f:06:56:46 via
192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:35:12 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.1.16 (10.1.0.3) from
00:30:4f:06:56:46 via 192.168.1.1
Sep 15 19:35:12 gw2 dhcpd: DHCPACK on 192.168.1.16 to 00:30:4f:06:56:46 via
192.168.1.1

I would like to inform that I already put this MAC address in other win
XP machine (unfortunatelly all my clients are Winblows :P) but I continued
getting the same results.
