I would suggest creating a separate mount point for each iso. mount them with loop, perhaps right in /etc/fstab run apt-cdrom using the mountpoint option Now whenever apt needs a particular DVD, it knows what mount point to use, will mount it, get the iso, and not have to say "insert DVD 1" or whatever.
