Sorry, I'm not trying to be difficult but I've run 'genmenu' but my WM 'applications' program still does not work. All it does is show an 'x' in the right corner when I left or center click it, allowing me to close it.
When I ran 'genmenu' it told me that
"/root/GNUstep/Defaults/WMRootMenu already exists"
and asked me whether I should overwrite it. The first time I did, the second time I didn't. Also,
/root/GNUstep/Defaults# ls WMRootMenu WMState WindowMaker
which looked 'normal' to vi & my untrained eye.
What else could be happening here ?
